We have added two new Design Team members to our team. We think you will find them beyond talented and completely inspiring! We are very excited to announce them and to share some of their work!
We have done a mini interview with each of them to let you get to know them a little better.
First is, Lia Abdullah. She was born and raised in Singapore. You may know her work from her screen name of lialuvsblythes. She also has a blog that you can check out to get to know her better, Lia's blog. Lia has a really fun style, kind of shabby chic but with a definite edge. Very talented!
Favorite Maya Road product? Velvet blossoms, trims, cupcakes and trees chipboard sets – I cannot stop at one!
Where do you scrap? My scrap area in my bedroom. When that gets too messy, I move to the dining room table.
What do you consider to be your strongest talent? Romantic pretty layouts with lots of layerings of embellishments
Why do you scrap or what does it mean to you? I scrap to express my creativity, to record my feelings that were evoked by a particular picture, and to have a pretty layout or project to sigh over.
What inspires you the most? The product (supplies), and the photographs I’m scrapping.

Welcome Lia!
Next is Sarah Moore. Sarah lives in Sydney, Australia and is an Army Veteran. Very cool! She is also a very talented scrapbooker! She has a classic fun style and does great mini albums and home decor also!! She also has a blog that you can visit, Sarah's Blog. You may know her work by her screen name of sarahlm.
Where do you scrap? I scrap in the garage. I have a big craft island on wheels I work at.
What do you consider to be your strongest talent? Definitely mini albums and off the page items are my strong point. I love all the details that can be added....I like all the details
Why do you scrap or what does it mean to you? Scrapbooking is important to me as it gives me a creative outlet and a sense of achievement. I get to be the family historian!! And its a fantastic way to meet people who also enjoy it as much as I do. Its something I get to do to relax and yet the whole family benefits......a win win situation all round!!
What inspires you the most? What inspires me most is everyday life, silly moments in fact no one thing inspires me but lots of little things. Family, friends, nature the list goes on.
My favourite Maya road project at the moment that I have made would be the Maya Road window book. Only because its actually about me, and I don't often do things on myself, so its a nice change. It just has little tidbits about me and what I love.
Welcome Sarah!
