I thought we would have some fun and make a clock! It's really actually pretty simple. It can be used as a fun home decor piece or given out as a gift. I've set mine on a small stand, but if you prefer, you may punch a couple of holes to add ribbon and hang it from the wall. To get started, here are the supplies you will need:
Maya Road Supplies:
Maya Road Butterfly Coaster Album (1 page)
Maya Road Chipboard Binder Book 8x8 (1 page)
Maya Road Chicago Numbers Chipboard Set
Maya Road Butterfly and Bugs Chipboard Set
Other Supplies: Clock Quartz Movement from a local craft store Patterned paper Embossing machine Sheer ribbon Die cuts Printed die cut transparency Adhesive Double-sided thick foam adhesive strips Coordinating ink for number chipboard File for sanding Glitter Glossy Accents by Ranger Small alphabet stickers Battery for your clock
Cover butterfly chipboard page and 8x8 chipboard page in coordinating patterned paper. Sand edges using file to smooth.
Make hole in center of both chipboard pages where you want to insert clock movements. Follow package directions on movements to install correctly.
Use an embossing machine to emboss chipboard numbers for the clock. I used my Cuttlebug with the Script Texture embossing folder. Cover numbers in ink to match your patterned paper.
Ink oval scalloped frame and cover with Glossy Accents. Then cover in glitter. I used 2 colors of glitter to achieve this look. Set aside to dry.
Adhere trim to bottom of 8x8 chipboard page. Add printed transparencies and die cuts.
Cover chipboard butterflies in coordinating patterned paper and sand edges. Add jewel to center.
Adhere glitter chipboard frame to a favorite picture (cut to fit). Attach to clock.
Adhere numbers to correct places on clock. Adhere butterflies using thick foam strips for added dimension.
Tie sheer ribbon in a bow and add to clock. Place a
Cut 2 strips of patterned paper and add alphabet stickers to form your title. In this case I used “Precious Moments”. Adhere to clock.
Set the time and enjoy!

What a gorgeous clock! What patterned papers did you use for this? The Chicago chipboard goes so beautifully with it!
