I always thought it would great having a DD who would share my passion for scrapbooking as she got older.......well thats NOT going to happen. Her ladyship is not interested at all, in fact it was for one of her friends that I made up this banner so we could do a project together.....DD says she is not a crafty person...soooooo soooo sad!!
Any way on with the project I made.
For this you will need the following:
Mini 2 Ring Triangle Banner Book
Glossy accent
Glitter to match
patterned paper
scallop punch
centre for flowers
To create this project cover all the triangle banners you require.
Using the assorted shapes included in the mini triangle banner sheet, cover 3 hearts, 4 stars and small circle scallop shapes with patterned paper.
Cover letters and scroll borders with glitter and allow to dry
Create paper pinwheels and attach to banner, the first and second banners have the sheer shapes attached to the page first, then the pinwheel. Once dry attach the scallop circles to the top of pinwheel.
Create your own flowers for the third banner(I put little beads in the centre) Theleaf shape if cut from the patterned paper.
The rest is simply a case of following the pictures above and adding the covered or glittered items. The scallop shape on the outside of the third banner is from the mini sheet, I covered the scallop borders then attached to the triangle with tape.
This is Sophie with her version of the scallop banner ( hers uses all 6 of the banners I only used 5)
And a close up
Thanks sarah M

Absolutely loved the banner. Would you share the paper you used? The colors were perfect. How about a tutorial on the flowers? The whole idea was just perfect.
