Maya Road held a Project Challenge over at Two Peas In A Bucket and we are excited to share with you the winning project by Angella Peardon here!
Angella created this beautiful 'book' by attaching two Maya Road Trinket Shadow Boxes together with a piece of mulberry paper on the spine (imagine that!) and look at the beauty inside the Trinket Boxes when you open the book up!
To create the book-like project, I joined two Trinket Shadow Boxes together. Cut a piece of mulberry paper 3.5" width by the length of the Boxes. Also cut a piece of vintage paper in the same size.
Machine-sew both pieces together and then using a very strong glue or tape, attach to the edges of the Boxes to bind the spines of the 'book'.
Sand the top layer of the vintage paper and ink to create an aged look.
Here are some close-ups of Angella's book.
Other Maya Road goodies that Angella used on this project are: Velvet Pleat Blossoms, Birds with Cages Mini Chipboard Set, Trees Mini Chipboard Set, Vintage Pearl Trinket Pins, and Suede Stitched Blossoms.
Congratulations Angella and thank you for sharing your beautiful project with us!
We will be back soon, Roadies to share with you the two runner-up projects in the Two Peas Maya Road Project Challenge. Here are sneaks of the two projects by Mollie D and Patricia R, we can't wait to share more on these cute projects with you!
