Hello everyone and welcome to my first post here!,....little bit about me ♥ .....I do love to create little albums of sweet nothings, just to sit around my home to remind me of sweet things or maybe just a pick me up. So here is a little album I created for CHA.
Using the 3x3 canvas coaster album I created this little sweet nothing. Using scrap pieces of
material and tulle , cut into the shape of a heart ... start by sewing the material onto the canvas page, then repeat with the tulle but leave an opening for little embellishements to be tuck into the heart. I have used mini spools, and wood buttons, then continue sewing closing your opening. I finished off the front cover with a gorgeous Vintage lace flower ( I ♥these)
here I have used the Organza Roses Ribbon - Olive it is so pretty on it owns , love the deep colour .
and here I have stamped directly onto canvas using the Singleton Clock stamp, and have attached some clock handles to give that quirky look. You will also see that I have finished off the pages using the new Vintage paper posies , and how's the weather mini chipboard set .
I do hope you have enjoyed my first post.. and some Maya road goodness.
As like you I ♥Maya Road....

I love the idea of sewing the tulle on top of canvas for an embellishment pocket, and stamping on canvas. Can't wait to try out these techniques !

So fun to see that arts & crafts are alive & well in America. Our fore'mothers' have nothing on the crafters of today!
