Hello Roadies! Emily here today with a layout inspired by something I found on Pinterest. Unfortunately there is no original source listed, so I apologize ahead of time to the creator. I loved the thought though, and pinned it for a future day.

I took the sentiment from the card and made it into a layout that captures two of my favorite things in life: my daily naps and my hunky husband.
I used lots of zipper trim in bits and pieces. The green and yellow are new colors this season, so happy! Remember, there's no rule that says you have to use a whole 12 inches, you can use the trim like you would any other ribbon. It cuts really easily, ust be careful of the metal teeth, carefully snip between two of them so as to not damage your scissors.
I also used my favorite ric rac trim. I find it's the perfect thing when you need that "one more thing" on a page. And the fact that it's mistable makes it even better in my book!
I used Pomegranate Pink to color the chipboard base. It matches Simple Stories' Fabulous line (what I used for the word "like") perfectly. I love finding matches like that between manufacturers! I threaded the Candy Stripes Ribbon in Brown through the chipboard base to make my new favorite motif: banners.
I embossed the chipboard frame and used it to replace the "o" in my title. I put everything together, but it just seemed to be missing something. I spied the new color of tulle and knew that little ruffle at the bottom of the page would be exactly what I needed. Don't you agree?
I find a great deal of satisfaction in using ruffly tulle on a masculine layout. It's fun to push the boundaries just a bit.
Thanks for joining me today!
