If you have not used Bees Wax yet on Maya Road chipboard or wood pieces you need to do so now. Talk about a BLAST of creative fun, I promise. I inked the Ornate Vintage Butterflies and Art Journaling Words Stamp Sets using True Black ink onto a blank chipboard page from the Scallop Square Basic Album and a page from ATC Coaster Album that has been covered with vintage ledger paper.
Next, I heated my clover sewing iron (small triangle tip) then applied a few pellets of Bees Wax onto the pages. When ironing over the pellets like this they melt on contact. Once I had the layer of wax on each page to the thickness I liked I then melted the wax in the area where I wanted the ATC attached. Once cooled the ATC was set in place for good.
To alter the butterfly piece I just took colored broken crayons I have had since the girls were in elementary school, touched the tip to the hot iron and let the droplets fall where they may until the entire butterfly was covered.
Have fun!

For sure, absolute perfection! Love all of the things you do with your beeswax, Lisa. Must try that too someday.
