Hello Roadies! Ronda here with you today! Have you seen then new Early Summer Releases? Color this Mister happy when I spotted the new butterfly masks! A perfect combination for the vibrant Maya mists. On the layout I am sharing with you today, i used both sets of these masks.
Totally love that the butterfly mask set has both open and closed butterflies offering a variety ways to use them. The Soar butterfly Mask is such a great size to use with any layout or the Soar Butterfly chipboard album.
To create this layout, i used both sets on the background. The larger Soar Mask was placed at the top left while i used two smaller butterflies at the bottom right. I used diluted sunflower and turquoise mists on the background. To see how to dilute your Maya Mists, check out this video on the Maya Road You Tube Channel. The dark splatters across the page are charcoal mists.
To accent the big soar butterfly, i added in a few other butterflies like the wooden one or the two stamped ornate vintage butterflies.
The ruffled flowers were a perfect match for the mists as is the new slushie blue twine cording. I love it when a layout falls together and this was definitely one of them. That butterfly masks sparked a story and inspired the whole creation. What will they inspire you to create?
