Hey there Roadies! Since July is just right around the corner, and we, here in the US, like to celebrate our Independence Day with lots of stars and stripes, I thought it would be fun to take advantage of the various stars and fun embellishments Maya Road has to offer and make a project! Check it out...
Oh my, this is some serious "starry" goodness, am I right?! I used TONS of Maya Road here on my simple card! I started by painting the negative star chipboard from Motifs Chipboard a light blue color, and while I let that dry, I covered one of the banners from Wavy Layerable Chipboard Banner with some patterned paper. I then colored a couple of star bingo pieces from Wood Bingo Motifs with colors to match my project (more stars!!) and found fun star trinkets to add with the Trinket Pins - Crystal Star and White and Yellow Trinket stars.
I then snagged a Kraft Large Ticket Strip in White and stamped "happy" from the Art Journaling Words Stamp set. This stamp set is a MUST!! Every word that you could possibly use, and additional single letters if needed!! Like the "t" and "h" that I stamped to form my "4th."
Finally, I grabbed some of the Ruby Red Zipper Trim to make cute little tails at the bottom of my card. Oh, but that wasn't all the trim that I used! I cut a piece of trim from Apple Mums Vintage Lace Trim behind my "happy" ticket, and some Ecru Crochet Trim stripped along the bottom.
Easy peasy lemon squeezy! See how easy Maya Road can help you out with your seasonal and holiday projects?! Happy 4th Roadies!!

What a lovely card! (Even when you don't celebrate independence day!) I love it!
