Hello Roadies! It's Julia here with an altered shadow box to share with you today. I absolutely adore the new Maya Road House Shadow Box. As a girl who loved dolls and doll houses, this lovely little house brings back sweet memories and was so much fun to alter.
The outside and roof of this shadow box was covered with patterned paper and then embellished with lots of fun Maya Road trims. Each shadow box square includes a square chipboard insert that makes it super easy to embellish and then place in the shadow box.
One of my favorite new Maya Road trims is the Antique Alterable Scalloped Trim that makes the most beautiful handmade flower. I just can't get enough of it!
Here's a closeup of one of the embellished boxes...
The Maya Road wood spools can be stamped and covered with patterned paper or some of the new Twine Cording.
This Maya Road Journey Tin makes a unique embellishment when stamped on the front clear section.
I can think of so many possibilities for this sweet little shadowbox. Wouldn't one be absolutely adorable in a little girl's room or how about creating one for each season of the year?
