One reason I love Maya Road products is because of their eclectic charm. Many treasures such as a vintage tape measure, crocheted flowers and trim, trinket pins, and raspberry beads remind me of days gone by and of my grandma. It's kind of like sorting through her sewing tin and taking a step back in time. It's so fun to be able to have these products and many more available to incorporate into my paper-crafting projects.
My card today uses a few of these fun, eclectic items such as the Vintage Raspberry Bead that embellishes the center of my chipboard butterly along with a Silver Mum.
I used the Vintage Tape Measure Trim as a border across the bottom of my card and for a pop of color. These can be used in so many fun ways on paper-crafting projects...this is just one simple example.
It's always fun to mix the old in with the new though too as with this playful stamp set that resembles an eye chart and comes with a fun variety of sentiments. The stamp set is from the Eye Chart Sentiments set and is stamped in a checkerboard pattern in a couple of different colors. A fun way to add a background that serves as a sentiment at the same time.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Melissa
