So when my daughter, Olivia, was potty training, my mom bought her this fabulous pair of flip flops to celebrate the end of potty training. The flip flops were pink with some strawberries on the bottom. My baby girl decided that it wasn't frilly and sparkly enough so they stayed in her shoe container for the entire summer. A couple of weeks ago, I decided to change them up a bit so she would be more inclined to wear them and here is what I did:
If you notice the shoes are now well worn all because I added a simple tu-tu flower on each shoe.
These flowers are some of my favorite things to make now as they are super easy with our tu-tu tulle. You can easily make these for your favorite shoes in a matter of 5 minutes. Or try some like this:
To start here is what you will need:
1. Hot Glue Gun/Hot Glue
2. Tu-Tu Tulle
3. A jewel for the middle of your flower.
And here are the instructions:
Start with about 6" of the tu-tu tulle. Start rolling into a spiral shape and gluing as you go. In the center of the flower, glue in the jewel. Trim excess tu-tu tulle and you are done!
So very simple and can you believe you can make about 6 of these with only 1 yard of our tu-tu tulle? Amazing right?
These flowers have hung on tight to the little flip flops and have still maintained their color even with all the running, jumping and sliding my baby girl does.
Go make some for yourself!

What an awesome way to bling these out (and easy to do too)! TFS
