Hello,
Ania here with a card for you today!
My cousin recently welcomed his third child - and I am crossing my fingers the gift will arrive in time before we're heading over to meet the little baby (oh yes, I'm one of those slackers thinking I have all the time in the world then BAM! - this little person actually arrives in time and all...cough).
But! I love creating cards for babies (and weddings. And 50 year olds. And 80 year olds. And little girls. And little boys. And hm. I think I actually enjoy creating cards as long as I know who'll be getting them....but I'll digress..)
And. I absolutely adore the organza tea garden trim in chai. Such a versatile color for any occasion, and a must for vintage-y or romantique-y projects. It makes such a comfy and sweet bed for the cards decorations, and softens up the whole look. So. Lush!
And when it comes to trims and lushness and stuff I cannot help but sticking a pin or two in it! My two absolute favorites, vintage pearl and crystal star never fails to add the extra little touch to any project (and I am so looking forward to the golden super star pins too)!
I decided to mix butterflies of different sizes and materials onto this card. For the canvas one, I sprayed white mist on the canvas before mixing a little dragon fruit pink mist onto this one. And the wooden butterfly was sprinkled with iridiscent glitter before it was sealed up w/glossy accent..
When creating cards I try my best to not forget the insides too. And what's more perfect but a glitterified princess crown from the crowns mini chipboard set to top the card off? With bling bling ofc. It's a little princess, remember!
So, see? You don't really need much but a few key embellishment pieces from Maya Road to create a lovely card for someone special :)
Thanks for letting me share!

Beautiful card! What did you use for the base? It is such a gorgeous floral.
