Hello everybody!
If you're like me, you've had your jaw open for so long now - ever since the Maya Road and Jillibean swap's been going on. I mean, dang, aren't the girls I work with so, so talented!? It's almost so I'm embarassed to come with my final contribution - cough! Bear with me please! :)
I decided to go with a layout - of my girl and her cousin poking their tongues at me. I'm innocent, I just wanted to snap a photo or two of them!
I got to work with the fabulous Winter Tortellini & Spinach Soup collection - I love Christmas papers that aren't too Christmassy in the colors & patterns! (I love more typical Christmassy papers too, I just really, really appreciate that you don't really have to stick with these only, broading your options for what to use the papers for). And I just gotta yell LOOK - aren't the new yellow Super Star Pins in gold majestic?? Love the blank crystal ones, love that it comes in yellow now too!
And oh yes I know. The photo is....purple-ish. Sigh. Didn't have much yellow ink left, but thought I'd be fine printing out just one more sheet of photos....but alas..half the photos came out missing (lot of) yellow ink, while half of the sheet looked just fine. Ahwell. Think of it as a super-fancy-schmancy photofilter ;)
Nevetheless..love tucking bits and pieces of die cuts, stickers, chipboard and transparencies in between the layers..like the snowflake chipboard..the small ticket transparency in black...adds small but nice details to the overall look...and ofc...more trinket pins! Oh and note the embossed white butterflies around the page...lovelovelove the ornate vintage butterfly stamps...one of the few stamps I actually find myself using over and over again :)
I recently got two new mists...one being the buttermilk cream mist...may I just say...hello new favorite mist!! So creamy and milky and mellow and just perfect!! Here it is in combination with sunflower yellow and dragonfruit pink - my two other faves - I've been wanting something that could subdue the more stronger colors of the mentioned mists....I've found it....love..
So. I hope you enjoyed this layout..after all the amazing creations from the other girls.....at least I enjoyed working with the lovely Jillibean soup papers & bits and pieces of my favorite Maya embellishments (hi, girl wabbit! Lovesit!) :)
Thanks for joining us today for our blog swap! Don't forget that you still have a chance to win our giveaway! Make sure to go read the details on this post. Best of luck!
