Meeting for the first time

Hi everyone!!

This is Karen Grunberg. I am back this month to share an album with you. 

In the summer of 2012, my family and I went back to my hometown, Istanbul. Our last trip was over five years ago. This meant that my two kids and my sister's two kids had never been in the same room together. So it was their first time meeting each other in person. I wanted to commemorate this so I created a small album:

I just had fun with the pages by paiting them in the three colors: pink, green and blue. Using kraft tags to write journaling and a lot of stamps to create some layers.

so one side of the spread was the journaling and artsy page and the other side was a photo of the four boys.

I love seeing them all laugh together.

I picked a few words and made sure they stood out on each page like amazing, special, loved, etc.

This one also has my sister.
