Hello Roodies!
Hope you guys have been enjoying all the sneaks of the latest and greatest Maya Road products. I know I'm looking forward to getting my hands on more of those mini camera chipboards, burlap in all colors please and give me two of that adorable polaroid camera mini album (and the list goes on for quiet a long while). *wink*
But before else, I really need to make some room in my tiny scrap space... so I grabbed all the little bits and pieces that I've been holding on to to create a little something for a dear friend. I'm not sure about you, but I can never seem to throw anything away and always end up with a container filled with random bits. Among those are leftover pages from various mini albums that I had worked on - some chipboard pages from the chipboard 5x7 tab binder and people chipboard accordian album, which I then used to create a free style mini.
In putting together the cover, I also added a few flowers, kraft label & ticket, trinket pins and of course more chipboard shapes! Also sneaked in the new red measuring tape ribbons - love these!
Also I always like the contrast against the raw chipboard colors and therefore opted to only mist one of the chipboard; with turquoise metallic.
Then on some of the pages, I added in a mix of maya road goodies... from random chipboard pieces, bits to ribbons to kraft labels.
Hopefully this inspires you to put some of those leftover to good use!
And before signing off, here's a little sneak at one of my projects that I created for CHA using some of the new yellow burlap ribbon (love love this shade of yellow) and the fun paper twine (these are really great as there's a little bit of stiffness to them and therefore allows you to shape/control it)!
Thanks everyone for stopping by and do check back soon as we'll be sharing our CHA projects in the coming weeks.

PIradee you make everything look soooooooo pretty. I love your style and am so happy you are on the MR team to inspire me :)

Hi. Just found your blog. Love all the projects, just my sort of thing. I've put you on my favourites so I'll be popping back to see what other delights you have in store.
