HI Roadies! Julia here with a card creation to share with you today. My absolute favorite thing to create is cards and I love using lots of Maya Road goodies on them. The more the merrier, right?
The best thing about Maya Road products is that you can interpret them any creative way you like. They go with each and every style out there. For this project, I've used them in a very shabby chic way by incorporating lots of layers, soft colors, paint glitter and stitching. Did you know you can ever machine stitch chipboard? The tag shown on this card is Maya Road chipboard and it's covered with patterned paper and then stitched with my sewing machine.
The sweet metal bicycle was one of my favorite MR releases from this past year. So super cute and it works perfectly as a travel theme and put together with the Miss You sentiment. Metal clips are easy to hot glue onto your project. You can also stitch them on or staple them.
Finally here's a wood button detail. It's been painted with white acrylic paint and then sprinkled with blue glitter. I love the frosted look.
Do you like to create cards? In this electronic world, it's a great way to share a little snail mail love.
