Hi Roadies, Piradee here to share two layouts of my sweetie pie (I know again, but she's just too cute to not scrap about), using some of the latest Maya Road products that were released this past winter. First up is this layout of little missy with her spiked hair...
Here I used the transparency frame saying in white to highlight that adorable picture of her (liked that one the most) and also a smaller size one as part of the embellishment cluster. I placed these on top of the pictures and added a small kraft paper strip under the word section using a mini stapler to hold everything together. These are perfect for framing/highlight any pictures and also availble in kraft, where you can then adhere the pictures directly onto.
Some other details on the layou are... a glossy accent say cheese mini wood camera. I wasn't sure how this would turn out as it was the first time trying on the wood pieces and honestly really loving that glossy finish much more.
Another fun aspect of the layout, are these pink squares that I created using the paper twine cording (in rose). I loosen out the crepe paper and cut them into small stripes, which I then adhere over each other. Then I finished off the square by covering the top part with a piece of matching vintage lace tape (in rose garden).
And sharing another layout of my little one, which was inspired by her little playmat. We had hung up all these toys on her playmat and once she was lying in there, it looked as thou she was in her own little world (and thus the (play) house landscape.
Here, I had fun using various mediums on the house chipboards (from welcome home chipboard collection), there's a bit of misting, a bit of distress stain and stamp ink too. Love how with the distress stains (yellow houses), I was able to play around with the depth of the ink and stilll have it blend together (adhering multiple layers to a portion of the chipboard).
And then there's those super cute wooden heart buttons that were recently released, too too cute. I covered the little holes here with some enamel dots.
Thanks for stopping by everyone and hope you guys have a great creative week!
