Hi Roadies! It's Jocelyn on the blog today. For the Winter CHA show in January, I made a few cards with lots of new Maya Road embellishments and dies.
First up, an Easter card:
I started with a kraft panel and vellum die-cut as a base. I brushed gold modeling cream on the edges for metallic distressing and splattered a little spray mist.
I die-cut the beautiful Geometric Blossom die in both white and a lavender patterned paper and in-laid the patterned paper. The pretty teal Tulle Mini Bloom is a new flower, and I added a couple of trinket pins.
I triple die-cut the "peace" sentiment from the Peace and Pray Script die to add some dimension.
Next, is a cute hello card:
The new Mini Embroidery Hoops were the inspiration for this card. For each hoop, I backed it with patterned paper and layered a new embellishment (Small Vintage Paper Flower, Pretty Resin Bow, Acrylic Mason Jar, and Resin Mini Mum). For the Mini Mum, I used the white mum and colored it with two Copic markers (YG 01 & YG 05). It's a great way to stretch the supplies!
After the hoops were done, I die-cut the Geometric Diamond die out of silver foil cardstock. The mason jars are so cute, I decided to add a second one.
This card has a general sentiment, but I thought the hoops and diamond would work well for a baby card, too.
Thanks for stopping by!
