Hi Roadies! It's Belly on the blog today. This is the first time I play with string art, so much fun but I'd tried for ten times, lol! I did it on the new Maya Road 8x8 pallet, this is the perfect size as you can use it for many different kinds of wall art.
I upcycled an wood embellishment box as the photo frame, cut the photos into 1.5 inch square and adhere inside the holes, some of them used foam. I left one of the hole free and put a piece of pattern paper with Maya Road Simple Heart Clips, I colored it with oil base marker in red.
To decorate the pallet, flowers are always my first choice. The Maya Road steel dies are super strong that I roll only one time with the felt and they came off easily. I am fall in love with this flowers. I added a little pearl in the middle to let them look more elegant.
I think I did say that "with love" dies is one of my favorite Maya Road dies, I used it with glittered foam sheet this time, easy and just perfect for adding a bit shine on the pallet. What kind of wall pallet art will you play with this new? Let us know.
