Hello Roadies! Jennifer here and today I have a mini album to share. This album was definitely inspired by the adorably, fun paper collection I used and my own "little monster". For more details on the collection you can check out my blog.
To turn the album into a monster, I just turned the 4x5 Binder on it's side, then added a half circle page (from the Mixed Half Circle Chipboard Banner Album) to the lower section of the binder. The nose was made from a large chipboard oval from the Mixed Shapes Mini CB Set, that was covered with some red corrugated cardboard. Then the fangs and horns were cut from some raw chipboard.
Some Natural Jute was stitched around the edges of the face and some was wrapped around the horns, to add some texture.
On the inside of the album cover, I used some letter stickers and the Retro 80's UC Alphabet Stamp to make a title.
Here are the pages in the album.
In the close ups, you can see I used a lot of kraft touches. I love the combination of the bright colors with the neutral kraft paper.
