ok deb and i decided ya'll have been tortured enough as have we. so here is a sneak peek for you of some new things we are doing.
can you see what of this is new maya road? there are 3 yes 3 new items here.
1. the small chipboard letters - we decided that we needed some smaller one - perfect for layouts where you need a smaller size. they are raw like our other ones. the "day" here is from the jonathan set.
2. the metal flower. seriously, we are in love with these stackable metal flowers . they are from our trinkets collection. and wow, just you wait to see what else is in our trinkets collection (can't say more than that for right now).
3. and finally - can you see the black sheer in the background? this is from our die cut sheer sheet collection. SERIOUS SERIOUS eye candy. trust me. i only have like 2 sheets of prototypes of each style right now in my hands and trust me i guard them closely - LOL! and we are doing them in our midnight black! they have a nice weight to them like our other sheers and but can easily be cut to use as you wish on your projects.
and well that is all i can share for now. i did this layout on january 17th as that was the day we made some cool decisions for maya road for 2008 - more on that soon!
we gotta get back to work and prep for the show!
PS - we LOVED all the entries for our maya road open call. thank you all for entering. we are almost done with the review process and in the next couple of days, we will be emailing/calling the people whose projects will be invited to come along with us to CHA-W!
I see the need for a 2nd job coming-black sheer is exquisite!

I'm so glad you havn't announced the winners for the open call yet...it means I still have a chance. The way I've been acting today, you'd think I was checking the email every 5 minutes to see if I got into HOF or won "Scrapbooker of the Year"! This is my first time entering a project, and I am so excited & nervous, too. It's fun, but I think DH will be glad when you've made your selections known and I'm not "obsessing"!
