i can't believe how big my boy is. here he is at CHA-S waiting to greet me after my day on the tradeshow floor. we had some friends from paper tales with us. noah is a rough and tumble sorta dude. but that is cool because i am a rough and tumble sorta gal myself. i can't believe he will be starting preschool pretty soon. he is ready though. he loves his owl "backpack" and he loves to be around other people. i can't wait to see how much he loves school come fall!
i am trying to thin out my closet of clothing that i haven't worn in a long time since i left my corporate job. all the skirts, suits and such have been collecting dust in my closet the last couple of years and i think it is time to let a lot of them go to the salvation army. at the same time i am also starting our yearly shoe boxes for samaritian's purse. i truly believe you can go through life choosing to be a reservoir or a river and i hope that my family in some small way try to be a river to others.
other that than it has been a good weekend of chilling and catching up on work. all our luggage bags are empty. all the laundry has been done. i am about 80% done catching up on emails. i even got to cook dinner, run and work on finishing up 3 scrapbooking projects this weekend!
i will share some of my projects tomorrow!

That photo NEEDS to be a L/O.
ADORABLE sweet face!

Definitely a layout there-it is certainly a prize of a photo-what a face!
I have done Samaritan's purse also-a fantastic organization. But-I'll have to put in a few words for my personal passion. Nursing home residents-they are our forgotten elders. It is heart wrenching. So if you have a chance-"adopt" one of this beautiful people. Send cards, visit once a month, remember holidays and birthdays-and most of all spread the word.

GREAT photo there! Totally a future layout.
I'm doing the closet clean out too - I did the initial corporate purge but for whatever reason still have enough suits and such to go two months without repeating (insane when you realize I might put a suit on maybe five times a month for about two hours each time) - or that I mostly wear dresses these days vs. suits! I'm looking around for a women's career program to donate to - if you hear of any in DFW, let me know.
