well we are back in dallas in our own home, our own bed, our own crib, eating our own food and watching our own TV. it has been a LONG 2 weeks. seems longer. in that time we have taken 6 plane rides, coutless trains, trams and taxis. eaten lots of foods (which noah would do well on fear factor it seems - LOL). i think we have flown like over 20,000 miles. we at A LOT of asian food but getting back to eat some chipotle was nice i must say.
the last 2 nights were bad as the kiddos (noah and jonathan) were up at all hours of the night AND last night noah slept like only 2 hours before our trip back to texas.
but we had an amazing trip. we got to see my grandma and customers and some new things that we are making for CHA-W. in fact, we are almost done with the majority of the prototypes and as i mentioned before it is amazing. deb has done a great job. i have a couple of samples here in my suitcase and looking at them makes me want to create. badly.
more importantly, we got to spend a lot of time with my family. as the boys get bigger and my grandma gets older, even though the trips are long and hard on all of us, seeing my grandma ask to hold her great grandbabies and seeing a smile on her face makes ALL of the traveling, time changes, luggage and so on worth it.
for now i can't share all the things that we have made - yet but i will say that a lot of you will be WOWED by some other new things we are coming out with (and here is a quick hint, no paper).
to celebrate our trip back, i am giving out a RAK - how would you like some of our rubons, a chipboard book and some MR ribbons? if you would like this, please post here and tell me what you are celebrating this holidy season - family? a new job? life?
