Altered Tin

Here is an adorable way to use one of our tins. Julie Balzer created a darling shadow box to hold a cherished keepsake... her grandmother's locket.

To create this shadow box:

1. Cut a piece of paper to fit the inside back of the tin.  Don't forget to round the corners.
2. Adhere buttons (using glue dots) to front of tin around the clear window.
3. Glue mementos into shadow box.
4. Place lid on box.

One of the great things about this shadow box is the lid is removable, so if Julie ever wants to wear the locket, she can.
