Here are a few holiday projects created by two or our wonderful design team members Greetje van Raalten and Judi Van Valkinburgh. These are certain to inspire some holiday crafting.
Greetje accented her beautiful holiday wreath by altering some of our Snowflakes, Stars and Arrows. This is a wonderful decoration to have waiting to welcome your holiday visitors.
If you would like to try Greetje's altering technique here are some quick instructions.
- Paint your chipboard embellishments with gesso, let dry
- Next ink your (dried gesso) chipboard embellishment using ColorBox Fluid Chalk Inks in colors of your choice.
- Cover entire embellishment with embossing powder and set using heat gun
- Attach to wreath using Velvet Ric Rac
Judi created a beautiful boxed card set using our Birds of a Feather and Snowflake embellishments as well as our Philadelphia Upper and Lowercase Alphabets. This would make a wonderful gift for a neighbor, teacher or co-worker.
These projects are both so wonderful! I love the technique instructions from Greetje and what did you use on your chipboard bird Judi? I love it! It looks like glitter paint? Beautiful colors! Shelley

I ditto Shelley. These are both fantastic. Thanks for the tips, Greetje. I love to see how techniques are done.
