Yep, it's that time of year...the days are getting cooler, the night is falling earlier and the excitment is starting to be felt in the air. That's right, October is just around the corner. Costumes, candy and pure spookiness!
Design Team member Shelley Haganman created this cute little Mummy using a page from one of our People Chipboard Boy Coaster Albums. She even made a Halloween sign for him to hold out of a Maya Road sheer journaling card.
Here are a few tips on how to make this project-
"I used a large MR chipboard boy. First I placed a black and white photo of my son that I punched out with a circle punch. Next I used some sale fabric I found at a fabric. It has a gauzy feel or I guess a cheesecloth type fabric would work too. I cut this into 1/2 in strips and then began to wrap it and criss-cross it across the body and securing it in the back with glue. I then cut a MR sheer journal tag and threaded some of the material through to hang from his neck. I added Happy Halloween to the tag!"
Design Team member Katie Watson made this spooky little book using our Scallop Chipboard Binder Album.
Katie used a tree trunk from our Trees chipboard set, a sheer for her title work and for journaling pages in between, Burnt Orange Scallop Ric Rac and our new pom pom trim. To finish off the book she tied the binder edge with our sheer owl ribbon, black and white trinkets ribbon and our New Orleans City Scape ribbon.
