Today we have a special Valentine Project from a guest designer - Melissa Phillips! When we found this project on Melissa's blog using some of our Maya Road products, we couldn't resist sharing it with you. Melissa had originally created this project for Emma's Paperie.
Check it out:
Maya Road Supply List:
Here are some tips from Melissa!
- To shabby up the Maya Road chipboard coaster book, first paint it with off-white acrylic paint. Let it dry a bit and then lightly sand the edges to reveal the bare chipboard underneath.
- Cover the distressed coasters with patterned paper, stamps, stickers, flowers, and mini pastel flags.
- Top each coaster page off with a glittered Maya Road chipboard heart or sentiment. Once again, paint the chipboard with off-white acrylic paint, let dry, sand the edges, and then apply spray adhesive. Sprinkle on white glitter to finish each piece off.
Enjoy! Thanks to Melissa for this beautiful project!
