Owl Hanging

  I love these funky new Owl Coaster Albums!!

This project I have made uses only 1 owl.

 

To complete this project you will need the following:

1.    1page from new Owl Coaster Album

2.    1 scroll Frame Classic Chipboard Book Page

3.    2 Chipboard Buttons ( coming soon!!)

4.    1 Branch from Birds Of a Feather Chipboard Set

5.    Qty of Green Gingham Ribbon

6.    Trinket Pin Blue (new Release....coming soon)

7.    1 x scrolls Mini Chipboard

8.    Some string

9.    Green Cardstock, and

10.    Patterned Paper - these are doodlbug papers

11.    Brown Cardstock

12.    Brown Maya Mist

First Cover all the chipboard pieces with matching patterned paper and cardstock. Sand and ink edges if desired. I traced the owl first and cut out a pattern so I could create layers on the owl, line the wing and inner shape of the owl. (to add Dimension)

Use the brown Maya Mist to spray the branch.

Use the string to thread through the buttons and attach to owl (once covered with paper)

Glue the mini scroll onto the wing and then attach a bow with 2 trinket pins attached onto the owl.  Outline all the edges with a pen.

 

Use the picture above as a guide.

Once complete attach the branch and attach to the base of the scroll frame, then attach the owl on top.

To create the leaves I sketched some leaves onto cardstock the cut them out. I then Outlined them and attached them randomly onto the branch, some of the leaves I actually rolled up.

I attached some on top the the branch and some below. Once done allow to dry.

Punch 2 holes at the top of the project and use the string to make it into a hanging!!

And thats it!! Easy............(this is a quick and easy project that can be completed in under 1 hour.
