Canvas Album Love

So I had this really cute little Valentines day project ready to post for you all......then I discovered that I have LOST..............my charger for my camera....LOL Great!! I will have to save it till next time. So I thought I would show you my Canvas Album I decorated for CHA.

To create this cover I used the following:

1. Canvas Album (this is a new release)

2. Trinket Buttons Flowers

3. Trinket Flowers Suede Stitched Pink and Cream

4. Trinket Flowers Suede Stitched Red and Orange

5. Trinket Pins Pink Pearl Flowers

6. Scrolls Mini Chipboard Set

7. Velvet Stitched Blossoms Yellow and Pink

8. Sheer Scallop Cards

8. Pink DMC thread

To create the heart I removed the canvas cover of the album, and faintly drew a heart shape with pencil on the cover.

Stitch the buttons (I used 1 whole tin) randomly inside the heart shape using matching thread.

I then stitched a square around the cover with the same thread.

To attach the flowers I used a fabric glue. I attached the trinket pins to the underside of the flowers before gluing them to the cover.

And that is all I did to make the cover, nice and easy.

This album I used to keep some of my favourite photos I have taken....

All but 2 pages are photos and the other 2 pages are decorated the same.

All I did was cover the chipboard page with patterned Paper (this is LYB) create a smaller layer on top which was plain so I could add the sheer card.

Use some scraps of paper to make a triangle banner, then the same again with scallops.

Spray a mini scroll shape with silver mist, attach to bottom left corner then add a flower with pin attached.

Total time to create this album was 1 hour, which makes it a great gift for friends and family!
