just by using a couple of simple things! here is a list of what I used:
Embossing folders and machine
A box to spritz the Maya Mist (I used empty soda pop boxes)
Start by spraying your chipboard supernova stars with 2 coats of Maya Mist
Allow to dry. Next I wanted to create a star where the embossed parts were inked. So I took out my embossing folder and inked the raised image with the 1" white ink pad.
Next, place the star (top side facing the inked part) in the embossing folder. Then run it through your machine according to its specific instructions.
Now check out your finished product!
You can also do the same without the white ink and get this result:
The trick is to mist your chipboard before you emboss it - it gives your items a depth of color that you can't get if you emboss first and then mist.
Check it out on the finished project:
Enjoy!
Oh my gosh! I have embossed chipboard before but it never occurred to me to ink the embossing plate! Genius!
