Valentine's Day is just 4 days away and I'm in the mood for love!
These love-y projects below are easy-peasy to create, and you can easily make a set for each loved one in your life.
The first project is an altered box, with the bases covered in patterned paper. The embellishing happens on the cover of the box, first with a length of Red Velvet Scalloped Ric Rac adhered on the side.
A cluster of Maya Road goodies adorn the top of the box. I first covered a piece from the Love Keychain with patterned paper, inking the edges and embellished with a pair of glittered Wings & Hearts Mini Chipboard. Then bunch of flowers were adhered, consisting of a Felt Beaded Blossom, a Gingham Point Blossom, and a couple of paper flowers. The flowers were topped with a bow made from Pink Double Stitched Ribbon and a few Flowers Trinket Buttons. Oh, and don't forget the Hearts Trinket Pins and Crystals Trinket Pins.
Glitter a Love Mini Chipboard and adhere on the papered heart, along with some alpha stickers.
Finish embellishing the box with a piece of new CHA-W Kraft Mini Tag and a piece of Love Mini Chipboard misted with Cherry Metallic Mist.
Now, a gift must be accompanied with a card and it's so much prettier when the card matches your giftbox!
Prepare your pieces by first lightly misting a piece of paper doily with Cherry Metallic Mist. Glitter scalloped heart chipboard from Love Keychain, and Love Mini Chipboard Set. Paper the word 'LOVE' from Love Keychain. Assemble card as shown below, with additional touches of a Velvet Pleat Blossom, a bow made from Pink Double Stitched Ribbon, Hearts Trinket Pins, and glittered Caroline Mini Chipboard alphas.
So there you go! Are you feeling the love now? Go on and create your Valentine's Day project and spread the love to someone else. :)
Wishing you a LOVE-ly day!
xo, Lia
