A lot of you (thank you thank you) are awesome Maya Mist users! You tell us that our mists do not buckle your papers, cover items with just a couple of sprays and the coverage is awesome. Here are a couple of other things you can do with your mists in case you didn't know.
There are two examples on this banner of what you can do! This was one of our new triangle canvas banners. I misted it first with some of our new Salmon Metallic Mist and the Cotton Candy Metallic Mist. Since those are rather bright colors, I mixed in some white gesso and painted the banner til I got the color I wanted.
Next, I used the Maya Mist to "tea dye" some yellow seam binding I had. I took the seam binding, wet it a bit and sprayed a smidge of the Latte Metallic Mist on there. The water helped to spread the color to give it a very cool look. Allow to dry then put your project together.
Give your Maya Mists a try at some new techniques.
Caroline

Such a pretty banner! I'm not sure what you mean by "mixed in some gesso". Did you mix the gesso with the mist or just paint over the misted canvas with gesso?

hi jukeb0x, here is what i did - i misted the canvas with the Maya Mist and then I added the gesso and used a brush to mix it together til I got the color I wanted. enjoy!
