These were lost photos of Hannah that were recovered on my computer after it
crashed. I didn't even realize that I had lost them. I had long
forgotten them. I was so excited to use them in a mini album as they
are truly precious moments.
This was "her" dress. She wore this dress for years...until the
straps broke and we had to tie them, until the the fabric was shredded
and dingy. Until her undies showed out the bottom it was so short. I
have a feeling that I will scrap these photos again as I love them!!
I used the Wavy Layer Book (CHA-W 2010) for this project and a ton of embellishments, as usual!
Just the cover of this book has 12 different Maya Road products on it. Because I used so much product on this album, I decided that I would go through it page by page and point out each product that I used. Might jump start some of your current Maya Road product or inspire you to buy more!
Here is what I used on the cover.
Trinket Heart Pin
Trinket Leaf Pin-Turquoise
Creamy Beige Scallop Ric Rac (what I made the ribbon rose out of)
Cream Ruffle Edge Trim (around the outside edge of the ribbon rose)
Kraft Journaling Tag
White Damask Rubons
White butterfly Rubons
Caroline Mini Chipboard Letters
The Write Stuff Stamp Set
Ecru Crochet Trim
Kraft Mini Tickets
I used the new "create" keychain for the Imagine word. I sprayed it with Hydrangea Maya Mist and then added the white butterfly rubons and then glossed it with Glossy Accents. I also used the Write Stuff stamp set to create the journaling label.
I used the white Damask rubons again on this page. I sprayed the bird with Hydrangea Maya Mist and then rubbed white cherry blossom rubons on top. Then I coated it with Glossy Accents. I used the Defined Stamp Set (word contentment).
I used the Crown Rubons for this page. The new chipboard borders sheet for the birds. The scallop trim was a left over from the banner book and the pom pom trim is a new product also.
On this page I used the red gingham point blossom, a left over scallop circle from the banner book and a mini scroll.
I used the white Cherry Blossom rubons (these are one of my favorite rubons, Icut them up and use them to add shabby little white details), butterfly rubons, Caroline chipboard letters and another left over flower from the banner book. I also used a Red Velvet Pleat flower.
I used the White butterfly rubons again. These are so fun to create little scenes with . I love that I can make it look like little tiny white butterflies are flying around Hannah in the picture.
I also used the Calendar rubons. I have to say that these are also one of my favorite rubons. I love to put them on and then lightly sand them to make them look distressed. I just love calendars. I also used the leaf pin and the vintage pin.
This is my favorite page of the album. I love the wavy edges that you can run your title along. The Caroline font is perfect to do this with. I used Hydrangea Maya Mist on the letters and the flower. The journaling tag is made from the Write Stuff stamp set. The little letters are the Jonathon rubons ( I use these a ton also...so convenient having little tiny letter rubons). The cream flower is the Felt Beaded flower.
More of the sanded down calender rubons, the white cherry blossom rubons, the Caroline font, Hydrangea Maya Mist and the cream ruffle edge trim.
I used the Love chipboard set heart, Hydrangea Maya mist , the little Jonathon letter rubons (2003), white scroll rubons and red crochet trim.
This is the final page. I used the Write Stuff stamp again for the small journaling label. The Cream ruffle edge trim for the outside edge of the milk cap. I rprayed the new white Zig Zag trim with the Hydrangea Maya Mist to make it the turquoise color that I wanted.
I used the "simply" chipboard from the new "create" chipboard. I just filled the keychain hole with Glossy accents until it was filled up to the top and then let it dry. Then sprayed with the mist. Then with the white pigment ink, I inked random words on it using the Defined stamp set. If you do this, just make sure to let the ink dry for a while.
That's about it. Lots of fun and lots of product!
Have a great day!
Wowwwww! Qué bonito, me encanta.
