It's my daughters birthday today and I thought it would be fun to hang an "Emma Banner" to add to our decorations!
It was a very easy project and will look great on her bedroom door once our festivities are finished.
To start you first want to collect all the letters of the name that you wish to make into a banner. The Maya Road chipboard letters are perfect for this! I then added a little bit of Bubble Gum Maya Mist and then a splash of Blue Raspberry Maya Mist to the letters. To help protect the letters and add a fun shiny coating I applied a layer of Crystal Lacquer. Set aside to dry.
Next you simply want to stamp a row of banner pieces using the Mini Triangle Banner Stamp Sheet. Cut these out and glue together to form a banner.
Once your letters are dry attach them to the banner and decorate the letters using buttons, pins, a felt bird
heart trinket beads, flowers
and a cupcake felt badge
I hand sewed a strip of tulle onto the back for some extra texture!
Have a great day,
Andrea
So very pretty and girly, love it!
