Hi there! Today I'd like to share with you a set of Maya Road Shipping Tags that I framed as a gift for my bestie.
I have to say, I'm a tag addict. I LOVE creating tags, and filling each one with as much Maya Road goodness as it can fit - sometimes my tags even overflow with those goodies! And that's just how I like them. Remember that you don't have to confine your creativity to the shape of your tag (or album). A little ribbon sticking our here, a little chipboard sticking out there ... it all adds interesting touches to your art! And don't be afraid to challenge how you use your tags either, you can frame one or a group of them like I've done above to create a one-of-a-kind piece of home decor.
I wanted to create a frame that is romantic and classic, and what can be more classic than pearls and 'bling'. The pearls on this frame came from a couple of Maya Road Vintage Pearl Trinket Pins, and bling came in lots of forms - pieces of glittered Maya Road Chipboard, and a gorgeous Maya Road Vintage Trinket Button. To add to the sweet love portrayed by the married couple, I added some Velvet Pleat Blossoms, new Ruffle Edge Trim and a Heart Trinket Pin.
I also used pieces of Love Words Mini Chipboards - perfect to summarise this pair of newly-weds. :)
I hope you've enjoyed today's project and found it inspiring.
