Hello Roadies! This is Leah, checking in with my very first post here on the Maya Road blog! I'm so excited to be joining the team!
Today I'm sharing a layout that I made using a bunch of fun goods from Maya Road. I don't really get to experience the seasons anymore, since I live near Miami. But one thing I always DO notice is a change in the light - the sun takes on more of a golden cast in the autumn, and I love catching some photos of the sunsets. We start spending a bit more time outside, too, since it's cooler. This is one of my personal faves from last year...The Summer Sun Yellow Maya Mist creates a perfect backdrop for this photo of our boys. I added a few drips of the Red Pepper Mist, as well, to help frame out the photo.
The burlap flowers add just the perfect touch of texture.
To contrast the lovely texture of the burlap flowers, I decided to emboss the wood twig branch.
I capped it off with one of the butterfly masks cut from kraft that I painted to match my fabric.
I hope I've help inspire you to capture one of your favorite things about the autumn season and document it! Enjoy a fabulous weekend!
