hi Roadies, I think that homemade gifts are the best! For Christmas, I created my sister and her family the following shadow box:
This was something very simple I could spend a couple of hours over a couple of evenings to create using the Maya Road House Shadowbox. Everything was done simply by first painting the shadowbox with a coat of acrylic paint to give it a nice bright background. It also make it less stressful when covering with papers. I ented up only having to cut 4 pieces of paper to create this beauty.
Each of the shadowbox squares also comes with a chipboard piece that you can decorate and then pop into the shadowbox for easy decorating.
Here is a close up on some of the different squares - I used pop dots to give some 3D effects for the different boxes.
Each box was filled with creative tidbits for my sister and her family. The house shadowbox makes it so easy to personalize and make it your own! Consider using it the next time you need to make the perfect personalized gift!
I just ordered this and should have it by Jan 7th! I am going to take pics of our new house (when it is finished) and put photos of 4 stages of the building process in it for our living room wall. Now I think I will have to order more because you have given me more inspiration!
