Hello Roadies! It's Ronda here today to share with you my Out mini album using the new Journal Memory Binder that is a large 7.5" x 9" and comes with 4 tabbed chipboard pages. I used it for my One Little Word for this year. It's a perfect album to document your year in one album.
First I covered the outside of the album with book text. I decide to go with Sense & Sensibility since it's one of my favorite book. Next I added a few sprinkles of diluted turquoise mist and some vintage thread. I layered lots of maya road embellishments on top of the white doily. I wanted the title to stand out so I used the Lisa alphabet with a white paint base + the same diluted turquoise mist.
I added two extra dividers to the interior of the album. The album will document my One little word throughout the year so each divider represents two months. I also put watercolor paper between the dividers making this my art journal one little word album. Here's a look at the interior divider pages:
As you can see I kept the design elements pretty consistent on each interior page, just changing up some of the elements & Maya Mist colors on the background. I used the Just my Type stamp set on each page, abbreviating the months. I also stamped each background with the Ornate Vintage Butterflies Stamps.
Here's my first art journal entry for January. On the back as January closes, I will journal more about my month. On the front, you can see I used Maya Road mists to cover the background. I also added some stamped images & rub-ons to complete the look.
Hope you are inspired to document your year in a different way!
WOW, what an amazing project. Every month is a dream.
