Hi Roadies! It's Julia here with day 3 of the Maya Road and Fiskars swap.
Maya Road embellishments work seamlessly together with the awesome Fiskars punches. I had a lovely creative time pairing them up and making a couple cards to share today.
First up in this vintage postage themed design featuring a background created with the Fiskars postage punch. The great notched edges add a little flair to a simple grid background pattern and also allows me to show off lots of different paper prints. I loved how easy the Fiskars punches were to use with my hand and wrist. They punch with very little effort at all.
On top of the background, I went to town with some favorite Maya Road embellishments. The Ornate Tags Chipboard Set is covered with some pretty gold glitter paint. I'm loving the gold trend lately and covering chipboard with gold paint or glitter is a great shiny addition to a project. Also clustered together you'll find an Antique Room Key, Green Leaf Trinket Pins, Vintage Paper Roses, Alterable Wood Buttons, Buttermilk Vintage Lace Tape, all tied together with the brand new Tiramisu Twine Cording.
A Linen Mini Tag Piece is stamped with the Ornate Vintage Butterflies Stamp set and you can also find a stamped sentiment, thank you, using the Card Sentiment Words Stamp Set.
This next card uses a Fiskars circle punch. It's used over and over to create these folded petals on the beautiful large paper flower. The center of it is embellished with Tomato Red Twine Cording, Vintage Button Stick Pins, Beaded Centers Vintage Findings, White Time Flies Kraft Clocks, Fabric Leaves and a chipboard piece from the Sew Cute Mini Chipboard Set.
On the card background you can find the always sentiment from the Love Words Mini Chipboard Set, a strip of Barn Red Gingham Fabric Tape, a Vintage Wood Mini Ruler, and some red Tulle Pleat Trim.
Thanks for joining us today for our blog swap! Don't forget that you still have a chance to win our giveaway! Make sure to go read the details on this post.

OH... these are Beautiful cards. I love the first one. The postage stamp punch is really neat and I love how you used it. The embellishments are a wonderful match. I need that punch more than ever now. Your 2nd card is so pretty and your idea on using the circle punch is great. I am going to have to try that. Wonderful job.
