Hi Roadies,
Wellcome to day 5 of our swap with Chic Tags, hope you've been enjoying all the inspirations so far. Don't forget to check both the Maya Road DT and Chic Tags blogs. For my project, I opted to create a little mini album using the linen 4x6 art journaling album, to document all those "Sophia" moments.
To complete my album cover, I added in the newly released Vintage Wood Stitch Heart and Arrow Charms, painted gold along with my attempt to stitch (only realized afterwards that my heart is a bit off sided). Also sneaked in the cute Vintage Butterfly Transparency Pieces in white.
Then on the next page, I started with a bit of masking to add some design to the linen before adding in the resin bird and bicycle charm embellishments and completing with one of the die cut from Chic Tags happy place collection.
I also added in a few extra pages by sewing them onto the linen pages, creating a little mini in a mini. Also having fun with some transparency from both Chick Tags and Maya Road latest vintage doily transparency (a must have).
And I'm sure you've noticed by now, I've gone crazy over all things gold and this cute light bulb clip was perfect for this golden page.
Another fun page with Chic Tags goodies and another clock transparency hidding in the back.
And my second set of add-on pages, where I purposely staggered the length of the pages so that there's a little sneak of the one behind it.
And wrapping up with little Sophia saying hello here and don't you love the new insta love transparency (another must have)
Thanks for joining us today for our blog swap! Don't forget that you still have a chance to win our giveaway! Make sure to go read the details on this post.
Happy scrapping!

Love the album. thanks for the idea of adding a mini-album into the larger album. Gives more room for pictures and embellishments without taking a lot of extra space.

What a fun mini album, I really need to just put the layouts away for awhile and work on a project like this.
