Hey Roadies! Mandy Kay Starner here to share a quick idea for those end of the school year teacher gifts. If you're like me, the end of the school year sneaks up on you really quick and then the panic sets in when you realize that you don't have something for the kids to give their teachers. Well, I have a fantastic solution for you!
All you will need is a mason jar, some small goodies to fill the jar, some Maya Road Lace Tape, Crafting Jute Cording, Burlap Posies, Manila Shipping Tags ( I used the #2 size), and a Metal Vintage Trinket Clip of your choice. To start, I wrapped the jar lid with the lace tape(it really makes life easy when its already got the adhesive on it!) then I wrapped the lid again with the jute cording several times, leaving enough length on both ends to tie the tag and clip to the lid. Then, I glued on my burlap posie using my Beacon 3-in-1 Glue. Boy does that stuff stick! I use it on all my projects.
Now that your jar is all pretty, fill it up with some treats or small gifts. I chose to fill these jars with travel sized toiletries so the teachers will have one less thing to worry about when they head off on vacation for the summer.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by the Maya Road DT Blog!
