Hey Roadies! It's Julia here today sharing a recent layout I created.
It's a wonderful thing to have a happy place. Most of us have one...a place where we go to escape. My happy place is found in a tiny room in my basement. It's my crafting studio and while it's small, I love every tiny square inch of it.
A couple of months ago Maya Road had a blog swap with Chic Tags and some of the goodies inspired this layout. I've mixed them together with some beautiful Maya Road embellishments for a fun mix and match look. For this project I decided I didn't need much patterned paper and just grouped and layered things together to make my design. This leaves lots of white space around the top, bottom and left side to give the project room to "breathe".
One of my favorite chipboard products is the Photo Frames Chipboard Set. They are simple but wonderful and are perfect for putting photos and accents in on both cards and layouts. Today mine holds my studio picture and is paint with white acrylic paint and accented with a metal clip.
Maya Road products used:
Yellow and Turquoise Star Pins
What an awesome little crafty space you have :) Love this colour scheme with the pops of red :)
