Hey Roadies! Mandy Kay Starner here and I'd like to share my July Maya Road Card Kit gallery with you. But before we get to the projects, I would like to say that if you haven't already picked up one (or two) of the July Card kit- Creative Destinations, you really should! Its a fantastic mix of products that will last long beyond a few cards and it is definitely not just for travelers. Here is a peek of what you'll receive...
You can pick one up for yourself HERE. But you need to hurry! When they are gone, they are gone!
Let's start with my favorite card from my gallery...
I started with a few pieces of patterned paper from the pad included in the kit, cut down, layered and pinned up to the piece of twine spanning the top of the card. On top of the patterned papers, I layered a globe die cut(created especially for this kit) that you can find HERE to use with your digital die cut machine. To finish off my card, I hung an airplane clip from one of the clothes pins and stamped my sentiment on the bottom right side of the card base.
I used another die cut from the files linked above, on this card...
The rich colors of the paper, paired with the textures of the ribbons, jute, and metal embellishments, plus the added softness and sparkle with the flowers and pins make this kit just perfect and more versitile than you can imagine. You can find more of my gallery projects as well as full instructions for creating each of my cards, HERE in my gallery.
Thanks for stopping by the Maya Road DT blog!
