Hey Maya Roadies! It's Julia here today with a look at a new mini album I created using one of the Maya Road Classic Kits. After a long and cold winter (that seems to have no end in sight here in Canada), I was longing for a breath of fresh air and design projects that remind me of spring.
With Spring in mind, I was excited to create this mini album using the latest Maya Road kit, Forever Yours. It's a beautiful kit with a stunning fresh color palette and absolutely full of amazing products. I really loved all the exclusives in this kits such as the sweet flair buttons, wood buttons and tokens and the unique journaling cards.
One of the things I love about the Maya Road kits is that they have everything you need to create a beautiful project. All you need are some basic tools and adhesive. In this case, I added in some gesso I had at home to paint the chipboard mini album and give it a shabby vintage look. The front cover was fun to create in a patchwork look of 2 inch squares from the included paper pad.
I'm also loving the brand new Maya Road Glitter that's included in this kit. There are four colors of metallic glitter encased in sweet vial bottles. As I'm hooked on the gold trend right now, I chose the gold glitter for this project and accented all the chipboard word accents with it.
Also included in this kit is some of the beautiful new Maya Road sequin sparkle trim. It's a great way to add some quick glam to your projects.
If you own a digital craft cutter, this kit has some coordinating (and free) digital cutting files. I've used them to accent some of my pages. You can find the Forever Yours digital downloads here.
I love the mix of patterns and prints in this kit. You can find more photos and all the instructions to complete this project here on the Maya Road Kits blog.
Here's a final peek at just some of the beautiful items in the Forever Yours Kit. Check it out! It's an amazing value, comes right to your door and there's NO commitment involved!
Enjoy getting creative this Spring!
lovely presentation Julia
