Hi Roadies! It's Melody here today with a school themed project to share. Most of the schools in my area start this week and life will become a little more scheduled and busy. I like to have a few handmade thank you projects on hand and ready to go.
These projects were so easy to put together with Maya Road embellishments.
I started with a Blackboard Kraft Mail Tag and stamped a sentiment in white ink and embossed with white embossing powder. I added a white Vintage Doily behind the tag. The wooden embellishments are the perfect touch.
I added a Felt Rose, two Pearl Ball Pins, and a button from the County Fair Wood Buttons. At the bottom I added a border with Fire Red Stripes Fabric Tape and Sunshine Yellow Mini Pom Pom Trim.
For the pencil holder I painted an inexpensive mason jar with a coat of gesso and two coats of red paint. Spray paint also works well for this.
I used another Blackboard Kraft Mail Tag and a Framed Sayings for the base of the tag. The small flowers are from the Sentiments Rub Ons. The tag is attached with a Mini Gold Clothes Pin and Shine Gold Twine Cording.
Thanks for stopping by!

What a beautiful set. Would love to make one of these but change the subject matter as I don't have any teachers to give to at this time. So lovely. Thanks for the inspiration.
