Welcome to Day 2 of the Maya Road & Ken Oliver Crafts Swap! It's Caroline today and I am here with a card using some Maya Road Kits and KO tools!
Of course with a blog swap, it's always wonderful to have a giveaway! Just leave a comment on my post for a chance to win! You can find all the swap details HERE. And be sure to stop by Ken's World in Progress for more inspiration.
To be honest, I have only used a couple of Ken Oliver products (his color burst pigments for example) but I got in the mail some of his Stick It adhesive and a Tool - It - All tool. I had only spoken to Ken briefly about these items but it was so cool to put them in use!
So the first thing I did was use the Stick It Adhesive and applied it to my paper before running our Maya Road Make It Beautiful die through the machine. It was cool because when it came out the adhesive was already on the intricate portions of the paper and ready to sock. The Tool-It-All was perfect with the point for removing the little bits and pieces of papers.
And here is what I came up with:
For this card, I took one of our new shimmering point blossoms and dyed it with KO's orange color burst so that it had a cool burnt edge look. I cut some of our papers and used some pieces from our past classic kits and made a simple but stunning card.
Maya Road and KO products are the perfect pair for creating stunning creations!
These projects are so inspiring. I am on a mission to find the products used on these cards!
