Hi Roadies! It's Katrina from Paper, Scissors and Glue here to share a card with you today. I am going to admit I went a little nuts with this card, but I love how it turned out!
Have you tried using black in your card making or crafting? It makes all of the colors pop that you are working with. That is why I chose a black card base, to make all those fun colors just yell "hello" at you! Black will also make your white seem whiter.
I started with a Kraft Polka Dotted envelope. To make it a little fun, I opened it up and then lined the inside with one of the papers from the pattern paper collection I was working with. I then used the Notepaper Die to tuck a little "note" inside. I did trim it down, so it would just stick out a little from the envelope. Then I tucked one of the Blackboard Kraft Post Tags in behind the notepaper to set off the colors a little more. A little silver acrylic mason jar was just a extra touch to the sentiment that I used.
And I am a big lover of trims, so the crocheted elastic trim was too cute not to put on the envelope! Add a transparent butterfly and you have a fun card to send to a special someone or just to leave as a secret pal!
So try some black with your projects the next time you create. You will LOVE the results!
