Gift Card Boxes with Xyron

Hello, everyone! Today we're kicking off a swap with our friends at Xyron. I tend to do a lot of die-cutting these days, both manual and electronic. One of the most frustrating parts of working with tiny die-cuts is dealing with the adhesive! Thankfully we have the awesome products of Xyron to help with this task... they really do make it easier!

I created a pair of gift card boxes (because school has started and I know I will need tons of these!) with several of the new, small Maya Road dies. These dies are idea for cards but are also the perfect size for projects like this:

I die-cut the box first as an electronic cut. Anyone who has ever assembled these sorts of boxes knows there are always a bunch of tabs and folds that need to be adhered together. The fastest and cleanest way to do this is with an adhesive runner like the Xyron Mega Runner.

How cute are these new coffee dies!? I see these being used over and over again for the teachers in my life this year!

But... they are assembled from tiny cuts. I really hate cutting out my pieces and then adding adhesive and then it makes a big mess. The Xyron Sticker Makers absolutely handle this issue perfectly! I used the smaller X Sticker Maker (there's a reason this product has been around forever) for the itty bitty cuts and the larger 3" disposable Sticker Maker for the larger ones.

Another great thing about the Sticker Makers is that you can use them with multiple materials. I sent standard cardstock, patterned paper, metallic paper, and even felt through them!

My second box is a birthday box and I couldn't resist that sweet little cupcake with some fluffy frosting. I whitewashed a birthday token and tied the box with twine.
