Pallet Love by Heather Leopard
Hi everyone, Heather Leopard is back again with another project. This time, it's all about pallet love!
I have been so fascinated by the pallet craze for the past few years. You can make so many unique things with them so when I saw this wooden pallet piece, I just new I needed to create a photo holder with it!
It was a lot of fun to create. I simply traced around each piece of the pallet on two coordinating patterned papers and cut them out. Seriously so easy. Then I alternated them on the wooden strips.
Next, I used the bull clip and metal flower to adorn the newly decorated pallet. I decided to soften them up with white rosettes.
I adhered them to the pallet in a triangle pattern to help with the balance and to also draw the eye around it, similar to how I design scrapbooking pages.
Last but not least, I added a 2x3 photo to the display! I would say this could even fit 2 2x3 photos or one 3x3 photo.
I want to thank Maya Road for having me this week. I still have lots of goodies left to play with so please be sure to follow me on Instagram (@heatherleopard) to see how I use them up!
And thanks again Heather for sharing your talent and creative inspiration with us and our readers here at Maya Road!
